Wait... Deja vu is pretty thick here. So bailing out GM and Chrysler in 1979 didn't change their business policies? So they failed again? I don't understand why we would repeat the same mistake again? Unless... there is another motive.
What could that motive be? Follow the money. There was a time when people would call this a scandal.... United Auto Workers Union gave 24 million to Democrats from 2000 to 2008 and only 200 thousand to Republicans.... hmmm I wonder why they didn't let them fail...
